Bangladesh has reached a significant academic milestone with the successful conduct of the 1st Cadaver Workshop on Regional Anaesthesia & Pain Medicine, marking a new era in advanced anaesthesia training and pain management in the country.
This landmark workshop represents the first-ever Regional Anaesthesia Cadaver Workshop in Bangladesh, offering hands-on, anatomy-based learning that is essential for safe and modern regional anaesthesia practice. The initiative is a major step forward in strengthening clinical skills, improving training standards, and advancing patient care nationwide.
The success of the program was made possible through the visionary leadership and institutional support of the Honourable Vice-Chancellor, whose commitment to academic excellence enabled this pioneering initiative.
Special recognition is extended to Professor A. K. M. Akhtaruzzaman, Head of the Regional Anaesthesia & Pain Medicine Division, for his outstanding academic leadership, meticulous coordination, and unwavering dedication to enhancing postgraduate and specialist training in anaesthesia.
